| An invitation
from the McKay brothers (Mike and Gary) led to an excellent
afternoon of paddling off of Shell Beach, CA. This was my first
chance to take the Kyook into the ocean, and I learned much from the
adventurous McKays.The afternoon included stops at numerous
hidden coves, wading through tidal caves, shooting the arch, and
paddling amongst seals, birds and dolphins! Shell Beach is the home
of Central Coast
Kayaks, who provide sales, rentals and paddling
