You have just been hired with Channel 21, Univision. You have been hired to broadcast the weather segment.

TASK:

Accion…You and your partners are now in charge of giving the weather segment on the news. You have to provide the audience with an accurate weather forecast so the public knows what to expect.  You are to use the preterit and imperfect tense in Spanish in your forecast.

PROCESS:

 

       1. You and your three partners will decide which Latin American country for which you want to

            report  the weather. 

2.  Using the links provided you will research the country and it’s current weather forecasts.

  3. You will divide the tasks. 

            Report the broadcast   (2 people)

       4.. You need to include the preterit and imperfect tense when you give your forecast.

       5.  You have a choice of either airing live in the classroom or you could videotape it and show it in class.

Now that you have given a weather broadcast, what did you think would you consider this as a career?  The weather is an important part of the news.  The weather let’s us know how to prepare for the next day, and how the weather is different in different countries.
